I have been watching this series on the National Geographic Channel called Earth: The Biography. I just happened to feel like watching TV last night, and there it was.
It is a great series. So far, yesterday I watched an episode about volcanoes and one about ice. Today was atmosphere and oceans. Those one word descriptions don’t tell you much, but the series goes into great detail about why these things are important to life on earth, and how we would not be here without them.
I am amazed at the delicate balance that these things have to be in, in order for life to survive. I am just fascinated by this series. It is done really well.
Tomorrow is rare planet. I think it is supposed to talk about the effect of humans on the planet, but I’m not sure. In any case, I’m sure it will be really interesting.
